Angelina Jolie has apparently accused Megan Fox of "copying" her style and
is furious the 23-year-old star is being lined up to play action hero Lara
Croft in the next instalment of the Tomb Raider movie franchise!
 
The 33-year-old portrayed the gun-slinging archaeologist in the first two
films but producers are now looking for someone younger to take on the role
as the new movie will be a prequel to the first two. So, a much younger
actress is required for the iconic role. But Ange has reportedly told
friends she doesn't think Megan can "handle" the part.


A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Angelina was intent on reprising
her role. She feels it's something she helped define and feels robbed that
it looks likely to be handed to someone who she considers less capable than
her.
 
"Angelina believes Megan won't do the Lara Croft character justice. She's
also annoyed because she thinks Megan copies everything from her, from her
tattoos to her style."
And, if Megan does land the role, Ange is reportedly planning to show she is
still the queen of action films.
 
An insider said: "Angelina is collaborating on a concept with a new sexy
female action character which will absolutely blow Megan out of the water."
 
We wondered when these two actresses would start dissing each other as Megan
is the obvious choice as the “new Angelina” but we doubt Miss Jolie is quite
ready to hand over her crown to the younger generation!
