Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s lawyer has torn into the couple's former bodyguard, branding him a "pathological liar" amid reports the minder is planning to write a tell-all book.

Former soldier Mickey Brett has worked for a host of A-list stars such as Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman and Sylvester Stallone, as well as Brad and Ange.

According to the New York Daily News, Mickey is planning to reveal all about the stars he worked for in a new memoir. The news appears to have incensed the superstar couple, with their representative Marty Singer claiming the bodyguard lied about his past as a special forces commando and hid a string of criminal convictions from his employers. He also claims Mickey signed a confidentiality agreement, promising not to disclose details about his time in Brad and Ange’s employment.

However, the author that was due to work with the former minder, Robin McGibbon, insists there are no longer any book plans in the pipeline: "Mickey was definitely going to consider a book or TV deal if the offer was good enough. (But at this point) There's not going to be a book."

If the book is ever written and published we’ll definitely buy it!
