Angelina Jolie’s desperation to lose weight for an upcoming role in the movie Salt has apparently caused friction with her partner Brad Pitt.

The 33-year-old actress is reportedly desperate to shed weight as she will be playing a CIA assassin who is forced to disguise herself as a man and doesn’t believe she will be believable in the role with her current curvy figure.

However, the diet has reportedly left Ange battling weakness and fatigue and left Brad so fed up with the process that he stormed out of their rented Long Island mansion last week.

A friend said: “Brad told her that if she was staying on the diet, he was getting out of the way. Then she started screaming at him about a chore.

“He felt that anything he did or said would be wrong, so he went to Los Angeles to let off steam with some buddies. He thinks the diet is dangerous and unnecessary.”

With the news that Jennifer Aniston is still hoping to be “good friends again” with Brad, him storming off in a huff must be putting the pressure on Ange…
