Bye Bye Gail
We had to feel sorry for Gail on last night’s Idols. It may be a huge achievement to make the top ten, but to be the first one voted off from that group must be tough!
Still, she’s philosophical about it! At the press conference afterwards she said she doesn’t regret a thing, including her song choices. She says a post mortem on her performance, trying to figure out what went wrong is a waste of time. She did say she’ll miss the friends she made on the show, though.
So, what happens next for Gail? She’s heading back to Kimberly, but she says that acting isn’t out of the question. “Idols is a great platform,” she says. She joked she’d like to be the next Halle Berry, or, and she puts it, “Gaille Berry”.
One thing she won’t do, though, is enter Idols next year. “I want to make space for others,” she says. She came, she saw, and she’s happy with making the top ten.
For a smart girl like Gail, with good looks and talent, the sky’s the limit. But for upcoming Idols shows, we’re looking forward to Tamara Dey and Flash Republic, and there are exciting hints about international acts gracing the Idols stage too! We can’t wait!
