It’s hard to believe but local golden girl Charlize Theron has never shared screen time with Tom Cruise.

But that is all set to change as two of Hollywood’s big screen heavyweights look set to sign up for a remake of the cult 2005 French thriller Anthony Zimmer.

The project, to be retitled The Tourist, will see our Charlize playing a female agent on the hunt for an elusive ex-boyfriend, who becomes a wanted man.

We were surprised that Charlize and Tom have never played opposite each other and look forward to that oversight being rectified.
