Good ol’ Charlize Theron is helping turn South Africa into a soccer Mecca in honour of the upcoming World Cup. Charlize apparently can't wait to be a part of the celebration. Her Africa Outreach charity is raising cash to build soccer fields all over Africa, so rural kids will be able to kick a ball about.

She says, "I love soccer and it's great for Africa that we're finally hosting it (World Cup). We're so proud. I started a program about two years ago that's become very integrated and, in honour of the World Cup, we're building soccer fields in very rural communities, where African children have no access to play this sport."

And that’s just another reason why we love her. Hope we get to see her around Jozi again!
