Jennifer Aniston’s representatives have moved quickly to dismiss a story suggesting Jen and her ex-husband Brad Pitt enjoyed a secret rendezvous on the set of her new film The Baster.

The U.S. version of In Touch magazine reports that Brad visited his ex on the movie’s New York set on 23 April, after driving to her set from the one his partner Angelina Jolie was working on across the city for her new film Salt.

According to the magazine’s sources, Brad and Jen have started talking frequently on the phone and smsing each other, and have now met up "quietly face-to-face".

One insider says, "He (Brad) pulled up in his black SUV. He arrived on the opposite end of the set from where Jen’s trailer was, and Jen snuck into his car. They drove around New York City together, talking."

The reports suggests the former couple spent about an hour chatting as they drove around the city, before Brad dropped the former Friends star off at The Greenwich Hotel.

The source adds: "They had to plan it (meeting) meticulously so no one would find out."
