The lady doth protest too much?
Jessica Alba is not a popular lady in Oklahoma after she defaced public property to try save sharks.
Wendell Whisenhunt, of Oklahoma City Parks And Recreation, filed an official report against Jessica after photos surfaced online of the actress sticking shark posters on electrical boards, a bridge and a billboard.
Unfortunately, the billboard belonged to the non-profit charity organisation, United Way, who complained that they would have to use their own money to replace the ad Jess defaced. Her reps have since offered to replace it for them.
Jessica was trying to raise awareness of the plight of sharks, who have received bad press in Hollywood since the Jaws movies. Her own movie, Into the Blue, didn’t help their reputation much either. But, clearly, she didn’t really think about the best way to do some good shark PR!
