Marilize: "I'm no prostitute!"

When Marilize van Emmenis stepped forward to acknowledge her part in the shocking Joostgate video, she knew people would be calling her names. But the 24-year-old former stripper felt she had no choice but to speak out, because she was starting to fear for her safety. She suddenly had people on her case, phoning her, driving past her house, knocking on her door, following her, interrogating her. And in the newspapers she kept reading stories that made all sorts of incorrect claims about her. There was only one thing to do, she felt – hard as it would be to tell the whole world about her past, she was the only person who could tell the truth about what happened on the video. And so she approached heat.

Joost van der Westhuizen still denies it’s him on the video even though the video has been verified as being authentic and not tampered with in any way.

On a radio show earlier this week Joost and his private investigator Mike Bolhuis made Marilize out to be a liar and a prostitute, claiming that they had a sworn statement from her in which she said that it was not Joost on the video. Marilize, who has passed a lie-detector test and a voice-verification test asked for an opportunity to answer to these defamatory claims...
