Yay! Control Room (the world's leading producer of global music events) and Fifa has announced a stat studded line-up for a kick-off celebration for the World Cup.

Stars including Alicia Keys, Agelique Kidjo, Black Eyed Peas, John Legend and Shakira will all be performing on 10 June at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto.

“We are thrilled to have a concert of such magnitude and performing talent raise the curtain on the first FIFA World Cup in Africa,” said FIFA Secretary General Jérôme Valcke.
