The opening show of Cape Town Fashion Week and one of the shows we were most looking forward to as her perfectly constructed designs never disappoint. Designer we love: Coppelia
Coppelia’s summer collections at last week's Cape Town Fashion Week was full of her signature pretty floral frocks and high-waisted skirts. She completed her looks with button up shirts, geek style glasses (all by Rayban) and pulled up socks. You can buy Coppelia at The Space stores around the country as well as selected boutiques.

Age: 21
Wearing: boyfriend trousers from Mr Price, top from Edgars, sunglasses from a flea market, the satchel from a second hand shop in Joburg town and her awesome tie-belt was self-made.
Style tip: HELLO sailor! Brenton stripes are so tres chic - be it in black, red or navy blue. Brenton striped tops are so versatile and can be paired with leggings, cropped trousers or jeans for a casual look. Look for tank tops or tops that have three-quarter sleeves to really be on trend.

Wearing: high-waisted mini from JayJays and Meltz top
Style tip: the best way to show off those gorgeous pins (even in winter) is to slip into a cute high-waisted mini skirt. Be on the look-out for minis that have extra details like buttons, pleats or inseam pockets.

Wearing: SissyBoy skinnies, YDE biker jacket, Big Blue belt and ballet pumps and nude pink top both from Mr Price
Style tip: A black pair of skinnies and biker jack might be a little too harsh on its own, so pair it with garments and accessories that have lighter colours to soften up the look. A nude pink top and soft grey ballet pumps should be a staple in any girls closet.
Style showdown! Fergie vs Julianne Hough
Julianne shows off her legs in a LBD and classic pumps. Fergie wears the same dress but does a sexier spin on it with hard-to-miss cleavage and tightly pulled-back hair. We like Julianne’s more subtle approach; less is always more and we love the cute gold accessories!
