Hey, all you stylistas… look what we found! This cute dress from Mango is our top buy of the week. We love the powder blue stripes and red detailing. Wear it with a straw hat and some strappy sandals for a day on the beach look.
Style showdown: Scarlett Johansson vs Peaches Geldof
Both ladies are spot-on trend with their printed dresses; Scarlett wears hers with nude peep toes and a sparkly clutch, while Peaches pairs hers with dark grey pumps and shortens the hemline for an edgier look. We’re team Scartlett on this one; the dress shows off her curves in all the right places and, well, she just looks tres classy!

Style tip: Bring out your wilder, sexier side by adding a touch of leopard print to your outfit. Leopard print is best worn in small quantities, so look for hair accessories, ballet pumps or a little shrug to pull off this trend!
heat Hair & Beauty Awards 2010
The style team held heat’s Hair & Beauty Awards 2010 last Friday afternoon at Melon in Melville. The upmarket restaurant had an amazing menu, modern décor and an even better ambience.
The winners from each category received their awards from our Editor-in-chief, Melinda Shaw, and Style Editor, Pam Wolstenholme, while the lucky winner of the Editor’s Choice Award, MAC, received their special award from the hunky, half-naked heat Man Watch winner, Christo!

The style team at heat attended the Levi’s Curve ID launch at the Michelangelo Towers last week. It was absolutely fabulous!

Eye candy with Calvin Klein Underwear
Calvin Klein has been on the hunt for the hot guys from around the country to model their new underwear range since their launch in June. A task we’d all like to have! The final fashion show and judging will take place on Saturday 28 August at the Edgars store in Melrose Arch, Joburg at 4pm, and if you want to go and perv the 10 finalists, they’ll be modelling the underwear in the store windows from 11.
Sounds like a good way to spend a Saturday to us!
